History Department
About the Department
The Department of History was established in the year 1974. The Department flourished with the inception of a Post Graduate Degree in the academic year 1987-88. The Department introduced an additional Under Graduate Degree in Vocational – Tourism (UGC Sponsored Course) in the year 1997-98. A certificate course in Tourism Management is introduced to Under Graduate Students of B.A. History. In addition to that, the department has imparted Spoken English Classes for both Under Graduate and Post Graduate Students to improve their communication skills.
