About the Department
The Department of Physics was incepted in the year 1963 with a Pre-University Course. In the year 1965, Under Graduate Degree was introduced. In the year 1982, the Department started offering Post Graduate Degree course. The Department has efficient and qualified faculties.

To create ideal learning environment for rural students to excel in pure and applied Physics through quality teaching.
Mission
The Mission of Educating Physics is to train the mind to think, foster the scientific temper and enrich the innovative ideas among the student community.
